Since 2016, Team BDS has partnered with Flowtechnology to strengthen operations and build a three-year growth plan using B-PODS™ - supporting leadership recruitment in 2018 and helping drive a 300% increase in turnover.
Flowtechnology, founded in 1978 and headquartered in Charleville, is a leading Irish process engineering specialist delivering turnkey systems, site support services and process equipment solutions to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, distillery, food and beverage industries.
Team BDS engaged with Flowtechnology in 2016 initially deploying Lean and Operations Improvement initiatives and projects. Since then Team BDS have been supporting Flowtechnology through its growth phases using our proven B-PODS™ methodology which most recently encompasses the development of a 3 year strategic growth and deployment plan.
The approach has been consistent in regard to identifying a 3 year horizon of growth and underpinning it with core processes, organisational ownership, digitalisation and business scoreboard to such a degree that consistency of achievement is forever present, both mentally and practically.
In 2018 Team BDS were actively involved in the recruitment of a new MD as part of an aggressive growth strategy and since this deployment growth for the business has increased by 300% in turnover terms.

Since 2023, Team BDS has partnered with Aqua Design to deliver a three-year strategic reset - protecting margins, improving operational capability and strengthening leadership.
Consumer goods
From 2018, Team BDS partnered with Nomadic Foods to re-engineer processes, accelerate NPD and strengthen digitalisation. Following a 2020 growth review, B-PODS™ was deployed end-to-end to build capability and structures for 15% CAGR ambitions.
