Mobile welfare management
Since 2012, Team BDS has partnered with Securi-Cabin to embed a rolling three-year strategy and disciplined execution model, strengthening operational excellence, innovation and ownership to help the hire division double sales and support continued domestic and export growth.
Securi-Cabin Limited, founded in 1999 and headquartered in Oldcastle, is a leading provider and exporter of mobile welfare site accommodation. The Group also operates Rego Hire Limited, Ireland’s largest Irish-owned hire business for site welfare products, serving the construction, film and utilities sectors nationwide.
As Securi-Cabin expanded its manufacturing capability and developed a rapidly growing hire business, the leadership team faced the challenge of sustaining growth while maintaining operational discipline, innovation capacity, and strategic clarity. The business required a structured approach to long-term planning, organisational ownership, and repeatable execution across multiple growth phases.
Team BDS were initially engaged with Securi-Cabin in 2012 for deploying Operational Lean initiatives and since then Team BDS partnered with Securi-Cabin to implement its B-PODS™ methodology, establishing a rolling three-year strategic horizon supported by clearly defined processes, ownership structures, digital enablement, and a robust business scoreboard. This created a consistent management rhythm, ensuring strategic priorities were translated into measurable actions while maintaining a strong focus on growth, R&D, and operational excellence.
As part of the growth strategy, Team BDS supported the design and recruitment of a dedicated Business Development Manager for the hire business in 2018. Since its establishment, the hire division has doubled its sales, while the manufacturing business has continued to grow both domestically and in export markets.
Industrial manufacturing
Team BDS partnered with Pro Stainless from 2012 to drive a shift from low-margin construction to higher-value cleanroom and healthcare, improving margins and control, then re-engaged in 2020 to optimise layout and deliver a digital roadmap for scalable growth.
Consumer goods
From 2018, Team BDS partnered with Nomadic Foods to re-engineer processes, accelerate NPD and strengthen digitalisation. Following a 2020 growth review, B-PODS™ was deployed end-to-end to build capability and structures for 15% CAGR ambitions.
